Adobe camera raw 7.2 and adobe photoshop lightroom 4.2 have been released and add preliminary support for nikon d600 raw files. the new acr and lightroom versions released on october 3, 2012 can read nikon electronic format (nef) files created by the nikon d600, although it is not documented in adobe’s release notes.. After installing camera raw 7.2 for the nikon d600 i have lost thumbnails for all my images i can not view them in cs6 or cs5 in 64bit. what is realy bad is that i can not view them in windows explorer win 7 pro 64bit.. *updated* adobe lightroom 5.3 and camera raw/dng converter 8.3 support the nikon d610 as of december 12, 2013. nikon electronic format used in .nef file is the nikon raw image format. photos in raw mode contain direct sensor and camera data including the camera type and settings..
I have the same situation (cs5 and nikon d600). i would like to know if adobe has any plan to rectify this problem (no support for nikon raw from d600 cameras). otherwise, i want adobe to buy back my nikon d600.. If you still haven't been able to successfully update the camera raw plug-in for cc 2017 or cc 2019 adobe applications, use the camera raw 11.0 installer below. for cc, cc 2014, or cc 2015 adobe applications, substitute with the camera raw 10.5 installer below. for bridge cs6 and photoshop cs6, substitute with the camera raw 9.1.1 installer below.. To be able to open your nikon d600 nefs you have to use a slight workaround. download adobe dng converter 7.3 (note dng not acr) with this installed you can convert your new nefs for your d600 into the digital negative format (dng) which then can be opened in older versions of acr like yours..
